Hi,

I'm trying to get a vocal mic setup going and a friend steered me in the direction of TC Helicon's products. Specifically
this one, the VoiceLive Rack, but I can't figure out whether this is considered a 'preamp' or not? The specifications on
the page don't get specific about it, at least not that I can find. I've read that with a proper professional mic setup you
need to put it through a preamp. Is this a preamp? any1 know?
