Not sure how to go about this, but is there an efficient way edit the 'rhythm' of a speech. For instance, if someone says "Bacon for life" in a normal voice, and you wanted to change the length of the syllables (to make it fit a particular rhythm) like a triplet with "Ba-con for" (beat one) and a crotchet for "life" (beat two), what would you use?
I've tried using Newtone, but I can't seem to add bits of silence between syllables. I've tried adding them in Edison and then dragging it into Newtone for editing, but this is very fiddley and frustrating. I also know you can cut the sound up in the Playlist and drag them around to fit the beat and then export, but that's just getting ridiculous.
Surely I'm missing some button, technique or plugin?
Thanks in advance.
