Audio Output within interface sounds muddy and unclear
Hello. This morning I tried to record a track, but the audio interface output sounds muddy and unclear. However, when played through my computer speakers the track plays as intended. To see if the problem was isolated I tried listening to my seven previous tracks and they all sounded muddy. These tracks sounded fine before this morning. In an attempt to fix the problem I contacted Focusrite to see if it was a hardware issue but thats not the case. I know the input signal is working because the green light highlights whenever I speak into the microphone. Furthermore, when I go to the mixer I do not see my microphone in the drop down input menu. In the menu there is just input 1 and input 2. However, prior to this I would be able to select the Microphone 1 in the drop down menu and everything would work smoothly. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks.
