I was wondering how much of resampling copyright law is (or could be) applied to resynthesis. I'm assuming that there isn't a specific law regarding resynthesis. Is resynthesis in fact just sampling? What's the legal definition of a sample?
I would also be interested to know how you guys (Image-Line) are handling this specific situation when it comes to the vocal samples of LollieVox, Veela and Victoriya.
