checking hearing ability with wave candy

So i thought i check my hearing ability since i always think i waste my hearing with all my sounddesign endeavours. So i took a look how for up the frequency spektrum i can hear. I played a sine wave until a d#10. Its at about 20khz. I can hear everything until that last note. Can i rely on that self analysis or is there something i should take into consideration?
