Hello,
Just thought that I'd post a quick fix for anyone using a laptop with a UHD screen and the non-FL Studio vsts are showing up super tiny (and some of the pop up menus too).
Rather than switching the entire resolution of your screen down to FHD 1920x1080 from the super slick UHD 3840x2160 (not happening), you can make FL Studio ignore the system display settings by doing the following:
1. Right Click on the FL64.exe in the Imagine line folder (Program files (x86) - Image-Line - FL Studio 12)
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on Compatibility tab
4. Click the box that says "Override high DPI scaling behaviour."
5 In the "Scaling performed by:" drop menu, select "System"
6. Click Apply and you are done
This will make FL Studio operate in FHD (1920x1080) even if your system resolution is set to UHD (3840x2160).
Voila, no more tiny vsts
This is much easier than the bridged method as it less tedious and also the bridged method does not work with all vsts.
The only trade off withis that you will miss out on the screen real estate that UHD display offers and FL Studio will not look as "slick" as everything else. Hint, hint Image-Line . I hope this will be in your next update
WARNING: Don't do/try this with the FL64 (scaled) .exe as it seems to prevent the original FL64 .exe from working properly which will lead to having to uninstall and reinstall FL studio
Peace and FL Studio forever
Coreysan
