Due to a house moving and some technology complications, I had a fresh install of Windows and had to rebuild my FL Studio install from scratch. The new Download Manager is a complete disaster. In the old manager, you could just select a bulk load of samples you needed and walk away, and it would do its thing over the next few minutes or hours.
But no, that's too easy. So we have a new Download Manager that forces you to download one sample at a time, showing each one as 1kb just to make it a little more interesting. If you go to your account and download all content, well then it's even more fun. First of all you download a ZIP file (my first attempt was the 1.5GB orchestral sample CD). Then you have to unzip it, which on Windows 7 on an SSD drive somehow takes 20 mins. Then you have to go to the download manager, and 'install' EACH FREAKING SAMPLE ONE AT A TIME!
Now I know I am missing something really obvious... IL's sense of humour has got the better of them, and they have a little 'install all your samples' button buried in a menu somewhere. Would you mind letting me know where it is?
Thanks in advance...
