Windows 8.0 to 8.1 update warning!

I have just made a big mistake and installed Windows 8.1. I was stupid enough to think this was something like a regular service pack upgrade that mainly fixed bugs and security issues. But this is almost a complete installation of a new OS and, worst of all, once it's done you can't uninstall it. All my restore points are deleted. I have ASIO driver instability problems in FL. My PC is significantly slower at startup. And the virus program i used in Win 8 doesn't support Win 8.1. So I had to download and install a new program. Some have also reported that their hardware such as network adapters and printers have stopped working. I assume this upgrade runs fine for most people, but I encourage everybody to do a little research before you click the "install"-button. In my case I will have to spend hours to do a complete reinstall
