AMD vs Intel performance with FL Studio

I know that generally, the 4770K and 4670K are recommended for FL Studio but how do they compare to the AMD FX-8350 for use with FL? I know FL Studio is capable of utilising all cores of a CPU because it is multi-threaded, which makes me think that the (8 core) 8350 could perform better than the intel options (which are only 4 core). Also, performance per core is a thing but how much will it affect the performance of FL Studio? It obviously has huge impact in games and the 4670K usually beats the 8350 in that respect but games are less optimised for multi-core CPUs than FL Studio is, which may prefer the 8350?

IDK, does anyone have any benchmarks for this sort of thing?
