Layer Map Channels from C5

Hey it would be nice to add a feature that maps the children of the layer track starting from C5 on the layer channel. I do this if I want to play multiple channels of samples and drums off my drumpad or keyboard, and the reason why I like this over the fpc or slicex is I can still load channels to the channel rack and still utilize its channels functions. But when I do it this way it takes forever if I have more than 6 drum samples because I have to go to each channel and map them starting from C5 and only to the corresponding note then link them all to the layer.

Let me know if there is an easier way to do this, I remember I did it in the midi options under omni one time but never figured it out. Thanks
