corrupted .flp ...

let's say you have a corrupted .flp ...
you suspect that one particular plug-in is the cause of your trouble ...

is there a method by which one can open the .flp , in a text editor , or what have you , and delete that plug-in ?...

or , is there any other method one would care to suggest ?...
