Lifetime Free Updates Rocks

I just received an e-mail from MasterWriter. I use their software to write songs and I love it, despite the fact that they have failed to develop some basic functionality. Today they announce they have released a new version - and yet another charge to upgrade, except this time they have gone down the Adobe Route and switched to a "licensing" model. Well I don't care how @##$% good it is - I'm not playing. They even had the gall to announce "you'll get all future upgrades for FREE" - I fail to see what is free about paying $3.50 a month for the rest of your life. Thank you Image Line for respecting your customers. MasterWriter can go #$%#$%.
