Favorite Method of Processing a Sound?

Hey guys ! I've recently been working on my sound design and it seems the possibilities are endless when it comes to the many different ways a sound can be processed. Thus, I am here to ask everyone what their favorite method of processing is, it can just be a specific plug in or even a chain filled with numerous effects ! Cheers :D
