Why I'm not able to completely delete a part of a pattern?

I've a score in a pattern, with 3 events recorded alongside it.
I'd like to delete the part between the 3° and 4° beat, including score and the events in that position. Selecting and deleting only remove score? How can I do it?
I hope I don't need to go to each event, select the same part and delete it for each event...
