Automating arp direction env sounds sick, but is unstable

I started messing around with the channel arpeggiator and found that you can automate the directionals of the arp, which is awesome. However, depending on where I start my track from, the output varies greatly. Like if I start the song from before the automation clip comes in, during the middle of the clip, or towards the end, I get largely different sounding results for each. I'm using Harmor. Thanks.
