Hey guys, I've heard a lot about compression, EQ and wave shapes recently after publishing my latest song and seeing that the volume of its final polishing wasn't like the overall songs (it sounded a bit low and distant), so I decided to work on it and I liked the second result.
But now working on my next track I got a different problem; I started to put a lot of patterns together to make an addicting melody (Lead, Bass, Main Synth, Drums) and figured out something wasn't quite right:
The sound wasn't clean, I mean, even adjusting the volume output of each pattern and working on EQ's, the melody still felt messy, as you could not distinguish each sound very well.
How can I mix all these patterns and make them sound unique and clean when put together?
I'm new to this, so sorry for the lack of knowledgement.
Thanks
