Piano roll/Help please?

I seen Nucleon explain this earlier to someone & thought Okay cool. It's just that the video he posted is not what is going on with what I'm seeing.

1. Can you no longer loop the step sequencer independently from the Piano Roll? < Not that big of a deal.

2. When I lay down notes and switch over to the Piano Roll a ghost note will appear in a area where there are no notes. It's like I am getting scattered notes everywhere. I watched Nucleon and I understand but changing a velocity for a note that doesn't exist is pointless unless I am totally missing something. Help?
