I think FL's Mackie Control Universe implementation is a bit lacking. I don't see any reason why we can't have an easier way of scaling up plugin windows with a midi controller.

A virtual midi system, Like Il remote, running alongside FL, directly accessible from the midi controller settings like any other controller. That sort of tool might give us things like Midi loopback, user scripts for generic controllers, arious attempts at soft-takeover. FL would ee this as any old midi device, and just listen out for the signals sent from the app; he app is the one that talks with the controller, and remaps its output to do more things in FL. You could take any controller, and dedicate a knob, or two buttons to changing banks in this virtual midi surface. Buttons could be made into macros, like Autohotkey, so you can use the FX selection and UI control feature of things, like MCU.

Probably not what IL will do for their midi efforts, but I can dream.
