I'm going to be building a new bootable drive on an SSD (finally!) whose primary, if not sole purpose, will be recording using FL Studio 11 and 12 x64. I'll still do some web browsing, maybe play one old game, but that's about it.
What OS would you recommend for this? Is Windows 10 doing well with FL Studio? Does it have problems with any old freebie or popular plugins? Or would Windows 7 be a better choice - Home edition for minimal extra crap?
What I'm looking for is the best performance and no driver/crashing problems with all the stuff I've been using previously (too many plugins to list).
If possible, I'd still like to be able to run FL 11 as well.
