Feature Request - FL plugins hold and sustenuto

In order to get fl to somewhat support MIDI sustain correctly the 'support hold and sostenatu' setting must be globably turn off. This stops fl from processing sustain itself and will allow the MIDI sustain message to be passed upstream to non native instruments. All good so far, BUT...

Internal plugins can not have MIDI routed to them that means that a sustain pedal is no longer usable for these instruments, the consequence being that Harmor, sytrus etc no longer hold a note except when directly pressed.
Is there a reason for this behavior? Since internal plugins do not support MIDI sustain it would make more sense that these plugins should not honour this setting and instead should simply act normally (shall we say correctly).
