Good audio interface for recording hardware synths

I fully enjoy my Asus xonar stx audio card. But, now i am using hardware synths in my mixes I have run into a small issue. My Asus card does not have dual 1/4 inch inputs to properly convert my hardwares analog signals back into my daw. I do have an older focusrite saphire 6 usb that I could use. But I am wondering if that is good enough or is there better solutions that are not over the $500 dollar mark. Or even better approaches to recording analog gear.
