Hello! I have been having trouble making good sounding basses lately. I have been trying to replicate a couple basses here and there and have been able to get kinda close but I'm still having trouble getting them to sound "right". I tried to replicate the bass in this song but I couldn't get it quite right.
Bass picks up at 0:07. This is the song and here is my sound.
I get about this close with all the basses I try to replicate and when I make a original bass it sounds "unfinished?". I don't really know what I'm missing so I don't know how to say this.
Any help or tips for basses in the future are greatly appreciated!
