Pitch Bend Formant Preservation

Is there a way to do an automated pitch bend all while preserving the formant frequencies? I've tried Edison and Newtone, but all they seem to do is change it from one pitch to another pitch. I want to hear the gradual shift in pitch, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to automate it. Please help!
