Performing live with FL in Windows 10 & forced updates / interuptions

I need a new computer and it looks like I'm being forced into Windows 10. I've heard horror stories about the forced Windows updates and i'm wondering if anyone has tried to perform with Windows 10 and had any Windows notices or forced updates while performing?
Has anyone found a way around it?
