I used to have a template of a simple 32bar House thing that I would plunk things into without listening.
It was a long time ago. I dont recall anything useful coming out of it, but it was an interesting thing to do when bored.
It is kind of a shortcut to a sound that is almost for sure something other than the one you have naturally.
