How do I make my songs more powerful, without making the louder?

The second song seems louder, more powerful and more beefy, even though it is not louder. I already tried to make my songs louder, but I notice that my Headphones struggle. So the second song IS NOT louder than mine, even though it appears to be.

What am I doing wrong? How can I make my songs more beefy?
