Get midi faders and knobs in db increments to be more accurate?

Is there a way I can set my midi controllers like numark mixtrack pro and Novation impulse to be more accurate in terms of DB on the faders and knobs?

For example im finding it better to ''ride the faders'' using a mousepad on my laptop since it goes in accurate decimal detail (not skipping) for every decibel of db.

Also I have found a way to get some use out of my midi faders and knobs settings the input value input multiplied by inverted 0.25 when linking controller.... Kind of works but doesn't give me the full dynamic range and is more of an irritation than significance. If there is another work around that would be great thanks!! and more support for midi devices is needed! if there is a way to have universal support for these things that would be greatly appreciated!!!
