Hello !
I know every plugins and even the best ones in the market color the sound or modify the source even with an empty preset, mainly because it creates latency. For instance, I can hear some grittiness when I activate HQ on the Parametric 2 or I've noticed Maximus can boost the bass sometimes...
But do plugins that do not process the sound alter it too ? Fruity Mute is just like a bypass. So does it have an impact on the sound ? I personnaly cannot hear artifacts. But I was wondering wether it could create artifacts when converting to .mp3 for instance.
Plugins like Wavecandy, Patcher or the map controller are concerned too.
I'm asking the question because I want to do this in the patcher :
I want the sound to get trough one EQ at the time by bypassing the others 2. I'm doing this to get a special soundesign and modify the sound of the same synth during the song. (I switch between them) My main concern is that my synths are so much processed already that I want to avoid useless artifacts.
I hope my question is relevant enough and not stupid.
