New Monitor screen real estate help

Im looking for a new monitor with the purpose of getting more screen real estate. I currently have a 24 1920x1080p monitor which i think does not have enough real estate on FL, at least not for me. After searching on google i found out that 4k monitors dont make sense for real estate unless i get a 40 inch monitor, which is too big for my setup. I think what im looking at is a 2560x1440 in the 27 to 32 range. Another option is to get an 34 inch ultrawide, but for me vertical real estate is more important than horizontal, so an ultrawide doesn't make much sense in my case. I also dont want a multi monitor setup.

Question. Does a 32 inch offer more real estate than a 27 if both screens are 2560x1440? Or would it be the same?
