Let's suppose I do the following:
1. hit record
2. play some notes (MIDI keyboard)
3. hit stop
The playhead now returns to the start of the song (or moves to the start of the pattern).
I don't want this behaviour. The very next thing I want to do is record the next part of the song — I don't want to record over the pattern I just made.
So: when I hit "stop recording": playhead needs to stay where it is — at the end of the pattern I just recorded.
"Remember seek time" doesn't fix this.
Is there a way to freeze the playhead when recording stops?
Additionally: is there a way to automatically start a new pattern any time I hit record?
How to restart recording without replacing existing work?
