I am using the 808 kick sample that comes with FL. It Doesn't come perfectly in tune, so opened it in Newtone and straightened it our with 0% Pitch variation and moved it up 3 semitones to play a default C. The Newtone tells me it's perfectly in tune but it just doesn't sound right with the sidechained bass line and chords on top. When i load a pitcher up in the channel it doesn't pick up most of the notes, (I suppose because it's too low?) but the notes that it does pick up it says are way sharp, almost a half step higher. Are there any other tools I can use for pitch analysis? Is there any way to fix this?
