I used Kontakt instrument New Hybrid Tools (8Dio) in my new song but the first note sounds always different with every HT1 patch for some reason.
There are no external effects, routing, automation etc. which could affect to the sound itself so I really don't know why the first note sounds odd.
And there doesn't exist any odd sounds if I play MIDI Keyboard/click some notes inside Kontakt player. The first odd sound exist when I put notes in the Piano Roll and that is strange.
Once I had a similar kind of problem with CinePerc Core (Cinesamples) and I couldn't find a solution to solve that problem either (this CinePerc Core problem didn't occur in Cubase).
Here is a sound example of this problem (and yes, it is a gritty sound).
