Turn off monitoring in FL 11?

The reason I cannot use FL 12 is because I made the song in FL 11 and the file doesn't work properly in 12- most of the instruments do not load.

I'm using a Logitech headset. Yes I know it's not good quality but that is not my concern right now.

Whenever I record, I can hear myself loudly, and also it picks up the song playing... so it just keeps layering on top of itself in the recording. This is obviously not good.

I keep getting told that I cannot turn this feature off in FL 11, but I'm trying this forum to see if there really is a way.

If I turn off input, I can't record at all. I tried a lot of different things I found in videos on the subject, none of them worked.

I just want to record without hearing what I'm recording. In FL 11, how can I do this? There has to be a way that doesn't involve me buying a separate mic.
