Sidechaining

Hey,

I've been sidechaining my kickdrum to instruments in relation to the bpm of my track. Eg a 1/4 note being the hihat, I used a delay calculator to find out my release time for the hihat sidechain. Track is at 140bpm, trying to get all instrument notes in time with that bpm. Just wanted to know how can I work out the value of my attack time to match the bpm?
