How to know what key my track is in

Hello everyone. I imagine this question must sound completely stupid to a lot of people but I basically dont understand the concept of keys within FL Studio. The whole time that I have been producing music I have just been placing notes where I thought they sounded good, which has been working fine for me of course. However, the problem that I am running into now is that when I send stems to people to remix my tracks, they ask me what key it is in and I dont even know myself xD It sounds so stupid. So could someone point me in the direction of anything that will help me understand this, and how to know what key tracks that I've already produced are in? Thanks a lot!
