when audio companies make plugins like sylenth1, 3xosc, massive etc are the basic waveforms being played back WAVE data? or are those waveforms being GENERATED using an algorithm?
I notice that massive's sawtooth sounds vastly different in quality to the one in harmour, or the one in sylenth1. they are small discrepancies but they DO affect the final product.
