I have an MC rapper who's given me an old 3 minute session with a lot of very fast rap.
I want to apply it to an instrumental song I've made, to give it a lively human touch.
The problems I have:
- The rap sample is a few minutes long. I want to splice different parts of the vocals into samples, into lengths between one beat and a few bars
- The rapper did not keep a good tempo throughout, so I will some how need to expand and compress the tempo within a sample itself to keep it properly in time
How is this best done in FL studio? I have the producer edition (IIRC) and all the plugins in it, but I'm not sure which of them I should spend time learning to achieve this.
If there's a few options, I'd start with one that's easy to use. I'm a slow learner and like to learn and then implement one stage at a time.
What plugins (etc) should I focus on?
