I think it's just fls routing of mixer vol and master vol.. I mean if u turn up the gain on a mixer in cu base do you notice the same noise..? can u bring the noise up to equal levels some how?
If u use 32 bit u can export super low vol and import then press the normalize and set the channel gain (if u use sample later and it's too quiet) if you still notice a noise floor that's troublesome you may just be crazy. which is ok.
