do you know any plugin controllers ?

hey guys!
i iwanted to know if you are familiar with some other plugin controlling hardware like the system 1 from roland.
since FL has that wonderful "override generic link" function a midicontroller that has endlessly turnable knobs would be fine too I think...

also I thought about building my own midi controller to control plugins but i dont know if this would end up being more expensive than just buying one...
