how do I do this? sidechaining EQ

hey guys, want to sidechain my kick to my bass, and instead of using the fruity limiter to compress the bass to a minimum and make them go together, i want to use an EQ and cut out the clashing frequencies each time the kick gets played, so you still have the bass audible in the upper frequencies.

is there an easy way to do this?
