A question/suggestion for Mixer level faders and mouse scroll

Is it possible to tweak the mouse wheel scroll to change the Mixer channel' main fader/slider level such that the fader only moves when we scroll exactly on the fader and not around it?

Because it is a bit annoying, especially in Extra Large view mode, that when you want to scroll the Mixer channels and your cursor is a bit down near the faders, the mouse wheel changes the fader level unwillingly. And since fader movement is always an intentional thing, why not limit the mouse scroll just to the fader size?

Anyone else feels so?
