How to record data in your playlist into audio clip?

hello I have a beat that I just finished creating inside of fl studio. It is formatted within the playlist. I want to turn this song into an audio clip just as the same way you would do when recording external audio into fl studio. I know Edison is the usual way of doing that but I was wondering if there is a way to do it within the playlist alone and then export that audio file alone? or would edison be the best and most efficient way to do this?
