Hello,
As per manual (https://www.image-line.com/support/flst ... %20Out.htm), "Orange labels show activated controls (transmitting data), left-click the label to activate/deactivate controls."
1. OK so I've got a MIDI OUT, and a knob linked to an external synth cutoff.
2. I create an automation clip for this knob
3. Suddenly I want to tweak my cutoff by hand
4. So I click the label of the knob to disable it: it becomes grey
5. I press play in song mode, the label becomes orange again and the automation is playing. Allright, kinda makes sense.
But:
6. I disable the automation, deactivate my knob, press play again: the label becomes orange again
7. I delete the automation clip, deactivate my knob, press play again: the label becomes orange again
The general rule seems to be: When a parameter has been linked to an automation clip once, it will never start deactivated on the beginning of a song.
How comes?
Thanks!
