I'm a family man now, so most times I have to start FL Studio with headphones on to come up with a project, then finish later without headphones and no one else is home. The problem I am having is sometimes I think something is loud, but when I preview the project in my car or listen over the monitors it's actually soft. Sometimes it will actually be too loud, but usually it's too soft.
Can anyone give me some tips for what plugin and/or settings I can use to keep my loudness in check?
I have a Windows 10 notebook, a Behringer UM2 interface, and Behringer MS40 monitors. I usually have my windows volume set to 100, the monitor volume set to half (both dials in the vertical position, and I control volume only with the output dial on the Behringer UM2. Should I make any changes to that as well? Thanks for the help.
