I want to have different velocity mappings per synth. For instance, I want a normal velocity curve for a piano synth, but I want only on (127) or off (0) values for a drum synth.
I see the option to change the velocity curve on my midi keyboard in the options menu, but that affects all instruments. How can I control multiple instruments (I don't mean at the same time; just selecting among them) with the same midi keyboard but a separate velocity mapping for each instrument?
For instance: play piano synth; velocity curve is normal (hitting keys softly results in lower velocity); switch to drum synth; velocity curve is on/off (hitting keys softly results in max velocity)
Please let me know if this doesn't make sense. It's hard to convey exactly what I mean.
