Deleting Plugin on Mixer Track - Still Showing Greyed-Out Plugin/Effect Name

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding deleting plugins or effects from a mixer track.
In this matter I will only use the term "plugin", but it could be any kind of effect that you can put on a mixer track.

First, please have a look a the screenshot below.
In this case it's Valhalla, but it also happens for other plugins like Vienna MIR for instance.

Apparently, only sometimes, the plugin name would stick on its former position, after I replaced it with "none" or another plugin.
It is correctly NOT playing anymore. It also wouldn't show when I click on it.
Although when I place another plugin on the exact same spot, it still shows the old plugin name, but greyed out and italic, even though the new plugin is working, which is confusing.

Does anyone have an idea if there's a reason for that behaviour or how I can get rid of it?
Thanks and happy producing!
Philipp
