Hello to everyone,
I'm going to compose a track in FL Studio 12, and in the middle of the project the time signature should change. In FL studio, when you would do that for instance, from 3/4 to 6/8, it is easy because it won't bring off-grid problems in the piano roll, simply because 8 is the double of 4.
In my case, the 2 time signatures I plan to use will definitely bring off grid issues. I have done some research about it, and IMO, the best and easiest method without getting a headache would be to start track 1 with time signature 1, export it, and then start track 2 with signature 2 and export it, and then, you combine both. Since there will be silence between my 2 tracks it will be perfect but... What way should I export them, and then combine them, so that I can get the best quality and also a good version for external mastering? I would like to obtain a 24 or 32 bit version when exporting the final combined tracks. What would you do? Would you combine the songs 1 and 2 in FL Studio itself using audio clips, or would you use another program like Audacity, which is able to combine songs too?
Thank you very much for your answer,
Bruno
