I have a fractal axe fx 2 xl plus and I want to record a guitar part and be able to record just the dry guitar separately and reamp it later. I use a Scarlet 18i20 for my monitors and other inputs from another guitar rig.
With the requirement that my guitar plug into the Axe FX directly and I want my monitor to be from the 18i20, how do I record the guitar part while playing the song?
I can't find a way to set one input interface and a separate output interface without crazy latency like 70ms or so at minimum buffer size. Am I missing something simple?
Thanks in advance for your help.
