A lot of software has the option to show a simple workflow tip upon loading. Given the many options and keyboard shortcuts FL Studio has, I think something like this would help users gradually understand the vast array of options and shortcuts available.
It could include small screenshots to illuminate lesser-known features (e.g. the "store in spare state" and "flip with spare state" menu items available to any channel), or it could be simply text only and give random keyboard/mouse shortcuts, e.g. for copying/pasting/modifying notes quickly in the piano roll.
I imagine just a simple popup box upon loading (which can easily be turned off) would show a friendly welcome and tip.
Of course, the real work would be populating the list of tips. Maybe the community here could make a thread of simple, one-liner tips to include as fodder for a "tip of the day" feature?
