[Directwave] Why do samples play at an even lower volume than Sampler?

Hi everyone.

I know why Browser and Sampler preview and play samples at a lower volume. But why Directwave play them at an even lower volume?

I'd really like to play them at least at the same volume as the one in Sampler. Otherwise each time I load something in Directwave I will always need to fix its volume.

Same problem also for sampled instruments through "sampling-robot". If I sample something I want it to play at the same volume it was played.

It seems that the difference is 5.1 dB which isn't even 5.2dB ( 100% of Volume knob)...

+ There are four (!!) gain knobs inside Directwave, each one already maxed at 100%. Am I missing something?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Madma
